The last two weeks has been a couple of eventful weeks in the life of Reiseselbekk. We left Koh Lanta February 16.th to go to Bang Tao Beach in Phuket, and spend a week with our friends Anne Kari, Tori and little Selma. The plan was to go back to Koh Lanta on the 24.th after the winter holiday. We had a great time with the Haga family. We also got to meet up with the Alm family from Sweden. We meet the Alm famliy in 2007 on Koh Pagnang on our first round the world travel. We went on a afternoon snorkel trip with longtail boat and AE and AK had a lovely afternoon on spa. The day before we were supposed to go back to Koh Lanta, AE got sick and ended up having an operation in Phuket International hospital. Unfortunate but luckely we were not far from the hospital, Lucas had a sleepover at Alms and Anne Kari and Tori could take care of him while Bos went with AE to the hospital. Our plans to go back was off course postponed. While AE was in hospital Bos and Lucas continued to stay at Bang Tao Beach and Lucas was playing with his Norwegian friend Stian. No complication after the operation and after one week AE got out of hospital. The hotel on Bang Tao was full so we moved north one beach to Nai Yang Beach and wonderful Indigo Pearl hotel. A very nice place to rest and get back on your feet. Sunday we met the Alms again. They had booked Sunday brunch on our hotel. That was a coincident, but a very pleasant one : )
Today Tuesday 6th. March we are finally going back to Lanta, and for Lucas back to school. That will be a nice change to home schooling, at least for the teachers.

I’m so glad it’s all over and AE is feeling better. I cross my fingers for you that this was it and that there aren’t any nasty surprises around the corner.
AE is almost back to normal. Fingers crossed it will not happen again. The surgeon was not worried.
Kos dere videre og godt å høre at det har gått bra. Thumbs up AE! Mvh Carina og Bjørn
